Finding Honours theses in Flinders University library
Please note that not all Honours theses from Flinders graduates are available in the library. While the university requires that copies of higher degree theses (doctorates and masters level) are provided to the library, this does not apply to honours theses. Honours theses are not included in the digital thesis repository. However, many honours theses are available on the library shelves.
All Flinders University theses held by the library are catalogued on FindIt@Flinders

Discipline and department names often change, and the most recent names can be found on the University website. Note that earlier theses in your discipline may use an earlier form of the discipline or department's name. Please be aware that theses from some departments may cross discipline boundaries so it may be preferable to do a subject keyword search, including the words "flinders" and "thesis" if satisfactory results are not found using the discipline search. |

Formatting
Please note that there are no university-wide rules for formatting honours theses, and the library has no role in approving their format.
Consult your department or supervisor for formatting guidelines for honours theses.
The library is happy to accept honours theses in any secure form of binding.
Submitting honours theses to the library
While it is a university requirement that copies of higher degree theses (doctorates and masters level) are provided to the library, it is not a requirement in the case of honours degrees. However, the honours theses that are held are a useful resource and are often consulted by honours students in subsequent years.
The library encourages honours graduates to donate hard copies of their theses to the library. Please ask your supervisor or department secretary to send the thesis to Metadata Services, Central Library for processing. Please provide two copies if possible, as the second copy can be made available for four-week loan.
