Grey literature

Grey literature is used in Geography as a complement to scholarly and peer-reviewed resources. Grey literature is information that has not been published via traditional academic publishing practices. Examples of grey literature might include newspaper articles, government or council documents, conference papers, policy statements, speeches, essays and many other formats.

You should find your search results contain more government/council organisation/institution (depending on what you picked in your search set up) document pdfs than if you did a normal google search.
